Modern Christian?ity did in gross error take "the call to spiritually" and make of it a wretched Doctrine; did take a "free communion with God" and make of it a tax(tithe)collection agency(church); did take an up-lifting and free association of worshippers and turn it into a deadly serpent of denominational practices. Do those who seek to answer the "call" really need those things? Peace

Thumbs up

right on! someone else understands this too! couldn't we go on and on about how the church has ruined the reputation of Christianity through their doctines of man! And how far the church has come away from the true worship of God. Please let the blind see the traps in the church, and those who are decieved about their own bondage be completely freed! Thanks Nonson

The light is beginning to shine through, but I still disagree with some of your obviously programmed language. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is a simpler approach to what you're seeking to accomplish, and a more direct way of getting there. Peace

The intent was not to chase yuse guies off but to do battle with those dastardly infidels. The only proper way to do it and maintain ones sense of balance is to get as crazy as the crazies in the writ of behavior.Sorta like lookin' in a mirror and seeing something god-aweful scary--like one's wife in curlers and mud-packs and mummy-wraps. a shiver maker it be. Peace

I realize that I, at times fall into the pattern of speaking Christianese, the little know language inspired by the church to tell all other that "I art better then thou." But the intent of my heart has always been the same: reverence, worship, love and relationship with Jesus. To live as Jesus taught. The things that I, and other Christians always disagree about are things like these:
"Going to church is always better then not going."
"The miracles that Jesus did are His works and aren't meant ot be done by us."
"Women have to obey their husbands"
"Children always need to be taught by adults, never the other way around"
"If you don't tithe to your church you won't be blessed"
These statements are all ludicrous, what I believe is...
"do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together"
Jesus said "greater things then these you will do in my name"(paraphrase)
"husbands love your wives"
Jesus said "unless you all become like little children you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (paraphrase)
"give to the poor"
can we really disagree with these things, if we can't believe the things Jesus did then could happen now, or weren't relevant to now, on what to we base our faith, it would be believing in an old church, rather than a God who is alive and well.

Okay. Self-realization. You, by your posts, disagree with Christianity, in toto. Good and double good. I am your servant. However, the leit motiv used in your messages are those descriptive terms essential to all of Christianity. Do you see wherein I'm disturbed by it? For I too am an undying enemy of Christianity. BUT I remain a Christian; swearing my all to He whom I worship wothout shame, guilt, or indecision. For upon completion of the earthly journey the only thing I have left is my Spiritual Being and its absolute oneness with the Creator. Frankly, I would not wish for anything more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Far too many people are churched to the point that they no longer have that self that is unique before God. Far too many people are churched to the point of divisive divisions(denominationalism=warfare)with the so-called 'holy men'leading the warriors. He who wears the mantle of Christianity is a shame and disgrace to all that is holy and sacred, all that is good and worthwhile, all that is unifying and strengthening, all that might be but never will be as long as the Christian Warrior walks the earth. ~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some years ago, I forsake verboseness in an attempt to get a point across. But when it comes to the 'criminal enterprise' known as Christianity my loud mouth knows no legitimate boundaries. Christianity is a stinking, rotting, cancerous growth upon the social fabric of all mankind, and it will continue to consume the innocent and the foolish until enough concerned citizens of the world standup and proclaim: In the Name of the Living God, enough is enough.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I cannot truthfully apologize for my irateness when it comes to this subject matter. May the God I honor have mercy on me for my most obvious lack of tolerance. Peace

Tell me what you think. I believe that their are innocent left within this hypocritical mass that we call Christianity. And i also believe a few churches exist, that have leaders who lead the way God intended them to. I definately believe that these are far outnumbered by the Churches who do more evil then good. My point being here that we need to do what we can to show those who call themselves Christians the truth as well as those who are unbelievers, in many cases, I believe the church to be more lost then are the unbelievers, because the church walks in this pride of "being good" and being the ones who are "loved by God." when in reality, its just a club, a fake game played by those who have no other social group. And in such cases I believe that we need to encourage those who are "innocent" yet in the midst of this church to walk out into the things God has for them. I, personally think that missions, when not indorsed by a specific "Christian" group, can be a good way to get these "innocents" out of the Church and into the real world, and learn that its not all stained glass windows, but about taking up the cross, and living the way Jesus did. With God providing.
Let me know what you think.
