Nonson, that is incorrect, the Devil certainly is the father of lies. He lies to man about God, who is God, and tells us if we are good mostly we will make it to heaven. God has much much mercy, and works with all of us inside our heart, through His Spirit that trys to reveal to us the gospel. Jesus said: "Behold I stand at the door and nock".. God at a certain point gives us up to a reprobate mind because we have said no to him continually! -PaulL- |

PauIl, G-d and Satan are polar opposites. One cannot lie (G-d) and one cannot tell the truth(Satan). If G-d must always tell the truth, it becomes a given that He cannot lie. But if Satan cannot tell the truth, then he must always lie. This being so, we know that Satan cannot lie about his lying. Therefore, Satan always tells the truth. _____________________________________________ Speaking theology-wise G-d is the Hidden Spiritual Universal. Satan is the Visible Material Universe. One universe interfaces with the other universe at all and every point. There are no variables. There is no randomness. The polar opposition is consistent throughout all creation. In reality, there are Two Truths in conflict. There is no Truth-Lie system. The belief in such a thing is a mere contrivance of undisciplined minds. The priesthood likes to use truth-lie construct to scare hell out of the unknowing. It has worked for an unbelievably long period of time. Peace

Nonson, there is a truth-lie system! God tells only truth, and Satan is a liar. Satan lies, his very lies, are lies and He loves lying. Satan does not tell the truth about his lies, if he would none would follow. With his religious lies, he decieves many. -PaulL- |

Science finds answers because scientists believe answers exist. Whether or not you are going to find answers to a lot of these things depends on whether you believe if it is possible that the Bible can be explained. Many have made up their minds before trying to understand and look for possible explanations.
The best lie is the lie which is mixed with truth. This is why Satan is such a good liar, "The Deceiver" the Bible calls him. As for the above statements about God leading people astray. You will see in every example that those who were led astray would not accept the plain truth. They wanted to hear what they wanted to hear and they weren't prepared to believe anything else. So God responded to them by giving them that which they wanted to hear, they were led astray because they were not interested in the truth, and so they suffered for it. A man might not give his child a stone when he asks for bread, but a man might give his child a stone when he asks for a stone. God gave them what they wanted to hear. Can you accept this? Is this what you wanted to hear? As for Jeremiah, and other prophets who felt that life was pretty tough and God was not sensitive to their pain. Doesn't everyone feel like that at times? By the way Nonson, it is easy to throw stones. What do you believe? Perhaps you might like to dodge some for a change. Come clean, let us hear what you believe. Spell it out clearly so that we are less likely to misinterpret your words. Yours, John |

PauIl, this is a belated response to your post of 12/10/00. _____________________________________________ G-d exist in His realm. Satan exist in his realm. The Beings and realms are polar opposites. Every aspect of these two different things stand in opposition to each other. _____________________________________________ In order for each to remain logically coherent they must be absolutely faithful to the polar definition, i.e., G-d is good (positive), and Satan is evil (negative). All things we ascribe as good must fall on the positive pole, and all things we ascribe as evil must fall on the negative pole. To do otherwise only leads to unmanageable irrationalities. _____________________________________________ One cannot say that G-d is love, but that He also hates. Too, one cannot say that Satan is evil, but that he also loves. Such utterances are wholly contradictory. _____________________________________________ Therefore, for sanity's sake one is forced to the belief that both G-d and Satan are ever truthful, and that neither can lie to hide the truth of their essential natures. This seems to be left to man. Peace

Dear Nonson,
You make God and Satan sound as if they are opposite ends of a battery. Evil cannot exist without good. Evil is always in pursuit of something which is good, but uses immoral means. eg. money is not a bad thing. It is amoral, neither good or bad. However, when someone robs a bank they are doing something which is bad in pursuit of something which can be used for good. Is power a bad thing? No it is not, it all depends how you get it and what you use it for. Satan will cure your arthritis if he can give you cancer in return. Isn't curing arthritis a good thing? A drug dealer will promise you happiness if you will take some of his drugs. Satan will give you good things, but he does not care for you, his goal is to destroy you and to turn you from the only one who can help you. God is the only one who can destroy the Devil and his work. Yours, John |
