That is for everyone, thou can discuss religion in the religion board, u can even have a bit about it in here, but please keep it on a normal level, dont insult others religions with untrue statements...........

If jezus was anything but a christian , he was a Jew most likely when u look back at what was happening there in history at that time.

I am telling you that Quran says that Abraham, Jesus, Moses and Mohammad were all messengers from the same God. Muslims pray in the direction of Kaaba in Mecca, because it was built by Abraham. At some point Muslims prayed to Jerusalem. I consider Jesus to be my prophet. I consider Moses to be my prophet. Muhammad is considered the last prophet, the one who brought Quran as the FINAL TESTAMENT, a completion of the Abrahamic faith which is today broken down into 3 religions.

Please list all muslims who keep Jewish traditions, and the Jewish Law. Also please list all muslims who consistantly preach in Jewish synagogues. List all muslims who preached against jihad and death to all those "equal" infidels.

Jewish traditions? Why do Muslims have to keep Jewish traditions? I didnt say that I considered Muslims Jews, did I? I said I considered Jews and Christians to be part of Islam, because Islam unifies all previous religions into ONE.

But to address your question anyway, many of the Jewish traditions are innovations that have nothing to do with what God intended for humanity. Most of these traditions come from Talmud, which is a human book. Torah is sidelined, even though it is the scripture that actually matters.

PS: When Islam starts believing that women are equal to men, then we will start believing that "all" are equal. But you and I both know that your own holy scriptures teach a different story.

Quran teaches that a marriage is a unity where a man takes on the responsibilities of providing for the family, and woman for maintaining the harmony of the family. Such a union must exist on a mutual love and respect for each other. So if by "equality" you mean men/women being identical, this of course is rubbish. But to God both men and women are equal, as each soul answers for its deeds only.

I hope u understand what i am trying to say before things run out of hand, people that are christian dont really like it when someone exclaims that their saviour was a muslim, it brings on idiotic fanaticism, u wont get it from me though, i am an atheist, but still i am interested in and respect religions, that u must be able to read from my words....

I didnt know I said something new, Durak. I think everyone knows quite clearly that Muslims consider Christians and Jews part of their religion. This is why such respect was commanded for them during initial Arab conquests. In Syria for example, the Christians were allowed to preach their service on Sunday while Muslims prayed in that same church on Fridays, until a Mosque was built. ( I believe it was the Great Church of Damascus ).

If a member believes ALL religions are rife with lies and superstition, that is that members' right to hold such an opinion. And the broad-brush stroke of such a position dilutes any insults that one may perceive as personal.

However, coming to a forum and bashing a religion and thereby insulting many of its members is not going to posture ANY thread or post in such a manner as to invite "discussion, debate and/or dialog."

Insulting a religion is unlike insulting someone's politics. Religion cuts too close to culture and you cannot separate ethnicity from culture. It has the same negative impact as racism and fosters nothing but animosity and discord.

This is an incredibly hot topic, people and pejorative comments are only going to inflame it further. But from what I have seen here, you people are handling it quite well.

Durak, as moderator in Open Forum, you have the ability to move this thread. If you have difficulties, I will move it for you.

Ok i found the button and moved the thread here, it turned into a religion discussion.....

Its not religion bashing, i can just understand that a christian or jew has problems with what rain states. I myself say everyone is equal and alike, no matter what race, religion or ethnic/geographical background.

I understand your point Rain, its a matter of interpretation i guess
