I personally, learn a lot from everyone here.

I don't want to sit here and read posts from people who have no passion or conviction or knowledge about what they say.

I guess it's all about perspective, but actually, one of the reasons I come here less is because this place has become very sensored.

My question is Why even have a religion forum if you can't discuss your opinions.


If Cs is prosthelitizing, then what is it called for the people that express a love for allah or atheism?

I'm a christian and I am offended by your post niquie.

I believe that if we are ashamed to share the love of our God with people, then he will be ashamed of us.

I respect you and whoever else disagrees with me but personally, I would rather represent God than VCI any single day of the week. It all comes down to priorities.

But I shall forgive you your transgression against me and I will remind you that this is a discussion forum where religion is to be debated and discussed. And one is certainly allowed to praise, as well as criticize or denounce ALL dieties.

So, save your "christian" conversions for your church, a far more fitting venue.

This Religion Board is certainly a place for discussions and debates but it is not a place to proselytize.

Russia.com represents the people of Russia, but it is certainly not limited to "foreigners" as this forum is not a country, but it does pay homage to the Russian people.
That also means respecting their beliefs
(Which is, guess what? Mainly Orthodox Christianity), cultures and traditions.

If you cannot put yourself in the Russian's shoes and understand that Christianity was already well established in their country for a great thousand years before any Protestant "outreach" group ever spread their "good news" there, then you have totally no respect towards the actual Members of this forum who are not only Russians but also representatives of their country, religion and this forum.

That aside, this board is like any VCI Religion Board i have visited.
People discuss about religion but no one will stand to hear about someone's "conviction" or let alone made to read how one is a representative of their "god".
That is nothing but a lame ploy to gain converts and if i may say daringly,
a ploy that is meant for hypocrites.

If any of VCI's forum does not suit according to your agenda, then there are many other "Christian" forums around in cyberspace that will feed your proselytizing urge.

As far as I can see it, both Castle and Armelius - both equally outspoken and long-time members of this board - have been throwing intereting points back and forth at each other.

Each is at peace with himself and - although having quite opposite views on certain matters - are equally happy to state those views. Neither has taken objection to the other......so I have to ask "Why all the problems" ???

Lukas, your comments on 'Russian christianity' (and other things) is so one-sided that it's obvious you can't see the proverbial wood for the trees.
