You know what is scarier? All these people who think god talks to them.

And look at the scary places they worship

Wonder what it takes to join a church that have these sticking out:

I think they celebrate death.

What makes you think that? I am Atheist because I don't believe in the existance of a god. My philosophy however is based on on Christianism, Buddism and a few others.
I think you judge Atheism from the point of view of a religious person, you judge it as another religion, with all prejudices of it.
In Atheism, there should be no prejudices.

Listen DV,

I do not blame Catholicism for the millions of deaths during the past 2000 years, I do not blame communism for 25 million of victims, or fascism for the people killed during WW2. I do blame the persons that use religion, communism, fascism, or even democracy to make war, to let kill people, to let murder and rape.
I do blame the people that use the naivity of people to get power.

When I say that Atheism is better it is because I believe that I cannot be influenced as easily as religious people to kill my neighbour because that ideologious arguments have no grip on me. In that way, I am a most tolerant person towards other beliefs than mine. I believe that everyone has the right to have a happy life and that no one should be forced to believe in whatever. And that is a principle that religions don't respect.

The Pope travelled all over the world to ask governments and people in general to behave peacefully and respect human rights. I'd say that's pretty tolerant.

Does he also advocate marriages between homosexuals? In some countries it seems to be a human right too.
