I have no fear of hell - at least...the eternal one. It exists I believe, but God has removed every trace of doubt as to whether I might go there by paying my way out himself. I have a fully paid-up ticket to heaven - entirely at Jesus's cost and account.
For this life? For me it's a blessing and a joy. Sure- I've had health probs over the last 4 years.....still do- but my future.....all of it.....is in my Makers hands - and I am glad.

I know that this life can be 'hell' for some people.....we've all seen people suffering in every possible way over the last 2 weeks. But believe me - (keeping to this thread) - what we have seen is part of the starter course. The main course is yet to come. Yu ain't seen nothin yet !!

Gren, I understand your concern with people who apparently spend lots of time thinking of eternity. I am extremely interested in NOW and always will be active in NOW : but I also know that 'NOW' is nowhere near as long as 'eternity'.
However.....if your don't believe in eternity / life after death / the bible's claim that every person will meet God for judgement, then you're right - 'WHO CARES' !!!!! Live a good life if you can - then take pot-luck (as we say in England !)

I don't personally think that's a responsible way to treat the life that God has given you, but the choice is your's.

People want to believe that there is a point to living.

And many have this feeling that the one time existence of life without an afterlife is not "right". Except for atheists of course.

Where most religions disagree is on what the afterlife is.

Why not consider what happened 1000 years ago or even earlier? The primary documents from that time have valuable information for us if we are willing to read them critically. They can also be entertaining

Critical reading is not blindly accepting what someone else tells you a particular passage(of any book not just a holy one) means but what it means to you.

You cannot rightfully turn away from something without fully knowing what it offers. It means you ought to at least do a little reading.

However it's you choice.

But if the Christians are right - we will be burning in hell. If the Heithinn are right -it will all sort itself out come the Ragnorak

its the last dayz...people yall are rigth now in one of most interesting times in mankind since jesus...u who say it always been like this it hasnt then u dont know history....´theres happend so much last 100 years ww1-2 etc...media is a tool in gods plan...cause look before people lived very isolated people didnt know that much what even happend in the next village or city when they did it took a horses time to reach u or walk....now today everybody can sww whats hapening at the same time....this is very important...

i have seen statistics for disasters like last 2000 years and it has increased many times....disaters in history are very known cause people wrote it down it affected people very much there is traces like pompei etc.....these days people are more egos,materialistic,unmoral,waring etc than ever...i se it own life and others...i deal today i family is split to diferent countrys with all kinds of personal problems my friends well some died some moved lose jobs go to jail divorce, alkholism drugs etc i se how it increase every year in own life....i think it is only mather time it may be 6 month 1 month or 3 years but i know that people will self exterminate anyway...having kids to me i realy want that when i settle down and stop with ilegal biznes...i just see how more and more fam and friends are unhappy and relations is getting worse just seeing somebody together for 5 years is long these days...with no good realtions no happy kids if kids at all...we jus kill each other mentaly fysikaly...i mean there examples my self had standard sinlge mom pops out drinkin leaving etc one friend from very traditional family big family 6 kids i was very close still is they arameans keep good contacts even with far away relatives and very religious...now last years one bother gambling probs violence women leaves with all 5 kids he had 5 daugthers on top that i mean he wanted just 1 son but no....other sister married some years ago all happy now separated guy frinks is agresevi so almost me and brother had to beat him after now his nicer to my amigos sister.....this family had everything good but last years im amazed gambling,violence divorce etc i never saw this comin i mean ya it happens but now its bery intense my self too my cousins very religious but some are alkoholists, another cousin want divorce they where all good before and i dont se why ive spoken to all family ad theres no new reasons from when they happy she just sudenly want new man new money .....egos theses days amazin...my grandfather had very hard life as young in ww2 was in slav camp germany then survived living thru comunsim then his wife died so he starts drinking and just in 1989 when poland free he jumps from the balkony from paranoia drinkin...well everyone has their story some good some bad..but its just getting worse and i know u who read this feels this too...cause long time ago i heard something get better n im not negative its just what hapend is jus like that....even tho extra money now i got a biz n all...mentaly people is worse more homeless i havent worked for many years had operation to feet after fotball and kung fu to much....

and look at world tsunami and thoose 4 orkans in usa i never heard 4 in a row and here europe to was worst storm in my life not long ago...i hardly could walk forward and almost got a fat metal plate blowing against me and got some **** blowin rigth in to my eye lol.....i hope i not jail or do ilegal when god comes...mayebe i have to go to jail for god to say its comin u need to change...its very hard to stop ilegal life once start easy money ....but money dont make happy but a lil easier...u may travel and not have stress sleep or boss work...

and usa in irak and afistan and soon iran belive me when i say it...its just waiting around the corner iran is last important country in middle east that isnt on usas friend list.....aand **** will be big when iran attacked...
this is the bif figth of babylon....usa is one of 2 kings who rule the world the second king looks to be islam...un is also bs they talk about peace but only watching how world is getting worse...
what is betwen afistan and irak????????even libya khadafi is usa friend and polish people are restarting to buy oil from lybia i never heard of this khadafi knows usa has libya on hitlist now only iran left i know many iranians....

That's a very interesting post. It's time people stopped looking only at their own feet and their own front door....and started to really try to understand God's broad-brush stroke of his planned action for the whole world. What the bible says is not just for Israel, Iraq, Iran, etc., it's for THE WORLD. The USA is not specifically mentioned, but the significance of it's power is.

ah..comon people...all of these "signs" have been given for centuries......earthquakes, tsunamies, volcano's ...lets add on Plane crashes, war's etc....nothing is new......this is why Jeshua said he would return as a "thief in the night"....the time is always "ripe" for the "return"....whats important is the present day, today....are you loving? Are you Close to the Holy Spirit? Do you help the outcasts, and poor? Fear not all this propaganda on the "Return"..and just keep loving, not fearing, giving not taking, any one of us can die at any given time, wheter it be a natual disaster, war or freak accident. These are not caused by "God", these are occurences of Life. The "signs" of the "return" are mentioned because the time is always here for a "Change" in our lives. To go from selfish to loving, hard hearted to loving, self centered to Love centered. anyway, Keep the Love of Jeshua Alive, and please, please, dont use "fear" to convert. been there , done that. God is Love.
