Sounds like a 10 year old at the beach, building sand-castles and sand-sculptures, only to destroy them (the child created them afterall - so he has the right to destroy them as well) before mummy calls them back for a cup of hot chocolate.

Perhaps write another book together? Say maybe an Enterprise Version of the Bible for Extra-Neanderthals and Extra-Terrestials?
