Which of all of the Christian Denominations do you think is completely out in left feild and why?

Hi Pal,
Firstly a question must be asked, before any answers are given and that is "Are you including so-called 'sects' in this discussion, or simply the main-stream christian denominations.....and where do yu want to draw the line."??
And how can peeps on this board discuss such a subject without upsetting each other ??? I know that they shouldn't, but yu know human nature.........
And as each eerrrmmmm......'denomination' has so many outlets, churches, attitudes, etc., we would be getting into deep theological discussions that would do more harm than good.

Paul taught in his 2nd letter to Timothy (2-23) "Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels".

Larsen, mate, this is not a put-down, but a suggestion. If members want to discuss these things, they have every right to do so. I'll just stand on the side and enjoy.

Bronze Medal goes to David Koresh and the Branch Davidians. (I live in Dallas and their Waco compound was only an hour away)

Silver medal goes to Jim Jones and the People's Temple.

But the winner in my book goes to.........

Marshal Applewhite and Heaven's Gate.

Honorable mention goes to the myriad of American churches who are snake handling churches.

And Andrew is right. This will hopefully be my last post on this thread because of the sensibilities of those involved. A thread like this could turn ugly quite fast. Plus, I don't want to wake up and see a live rattlesnake in my room.

None of them are in LEFT FIELD. They are all in RIGHT FIELD, because they are motivated by fear of whatever is around the corner and by HATRED of anyone different from themselves.

Marx was right and Lenin did the right thing when he took over the country.

The only denomination I MIGHT be ignorant of is the Russian Orthodox Church. However, regarding America, they're all PSYCHO.

Does anyone agree with the notion that God is insane?

Let's think about that for a moment.

Does He not allegedly state in the Bible that He is a jealous God? Why should Someone so powerful need be so jealous of anything? Is He THAT insecure?

Where is God when children are abused or hungry?

Does He even care?

If He could save three men in a furnace, why doesn't he care about a child being abused?

God needs a doctor more than anyone. Let's face it.

Think Dr. Phil would have him on the show?????
