My dear At the same time American presidents were claiming that they have the HOLY mission of fighting communism everywhere which was their excuse to wage wars all around the world by the name of christianity... at that same time America was the most currpted country in the world!and bars filled with drunkards... religion in america is just like democracy in america not more than shiny clean words...but empty of course you have seen those monkies jumping in the church with those dramatic words : God loves you, come to him, Jesus told me he loves you people of america be happy...remember Jesus loves you... trained at Hollywood...this is the american style... ACTORS...AT CHURCH....AT WHITE HOUSE...WHEREVER THEY ARE.. |

Solitaire,
By way of response I would like for you to go to my web site (www.nonson-benecabal.cityslide.com). Access the Discussions, under Anarchy and Revolution, and read the posts by Angela Green. Her stated political position mirrors mine very closely. Love -Nonson- [Edited by Nonson on 25th June 2001 at 06:02] |

Soltaire, you've said it :"American presidents were claiming that they have the HOLY mission of fighting communism everywhere which was their excuse to wage wars all around the world by the name of christianity..." =>too much "holy" in politics must have bad results.
There is one more reason. Religion in countries connected with former USSR was a sign of being "against" (party, communism etc.). In America you can easily choose the church that you prefer and change it if you want. No risk. No problem. People need sth. that's above them. If any spiritualism and mystery is forbidden you're able to do everything to reach it. |

Solitaire,
My dear, There is a minor mis-conception on your part. It is the belief that America ever fought Communism. Or, to put it in a declarative sentence. America never fought Communism. To have done so would have been a foolish act. -Nonson- |
