"Pissing on wounds is good medical practice?" Yes of course they used to do it in the ancient past - only thing is recovery rates from wounds wasnt that great in those days...lol. And they tended to have some problems there with infection from all kinds of nasty diseases, many of which are transmitted through human waste, including urine. Again, don't try this at home!

Also...the practice seems to have mysteriously 'dried up'. Btw I dont have the ear of God, unlike Da Prophit...who spoke "ex catherdra" so to speak on a whole range of topics like this - and the Muslims try to claim scientific authority for these statements all the time. I am just poking some fun at muslim claims that their religion is scientific.My point is not so much that Muhammed was dumb(I actually think he was very smart albeit with large attitude problems); simply that he was just a 7th century arab with a 7th century arab grasp of the world and its ways, no evidence exists that he had privelaged information from God as the Muslims are fond of claiming. I would be interested to hear your defence of his penchant for fly dipping, Tovar. Do you see the mark of scientific truth in that? As for the racism accusation - yet again I have to say - you show me ONE SINGLE STATEMENT of mine that is racist from anywhere on this site or APOLOGISE .

I have friends from all over the world, of several races. I hate racism, and I certainly do not believe in any kind of master race...lol. I believe I have said this before but despite that, and the complete lack of racism in my posts, no doubt the same childish and stupid accusation will surface again from you at some point...

With an MD in my family, I have recently heard about a medical practise I must share with you. Maggots and worms are used in nowadays medicine. Surely, these are lab-bread maggots cq. worms. They are not dug up from the ground. But a maggot is a maggot. Maggots/worms are used in open wounds, some times infected by streptococci, to prevent gangreen. It helps. The maggot/worm cleans the wound from dead material and bacteria. It eats it up. As for urinating ? Many people* incl. Madonna, do it under the shower, which prevents them from having whrats <sp?> on their feet.
