Seriously- when Holy Spirit brings the Bible to life when you read it, it all makes sense and you can see the 3-dimensional context of everything.

Andrew
What about the fourth dimension, time (=evolution)?

IF YOU INSIST THAT YOUR FEET ARE TIED TO THE EARTH -

YES - I guess your right. But that is the whole point of 'faith' - it opens up doors to an entirely new concept of eternity. You can 'reason' all you like, but you will get no further than your own intellegence allows, but allow the Creator to re-focus your mind on greater things that HE can give you - and eternity will not be long enough.

Well - It won't be long enough for me, anyway ...and that's not said with arrogance, but with 'thanks for the gift'.

Andrew

If you believe in something you do not need to know more about this subject. You are satisfied with your present level of knowledge. Worse, you will twist your reasoning to comply to your belief, you are not objective anymore.
It is correct that you can not get further than your intelligence allows, but you can improve your intelligence by learning, getting new information and analyzing it.

But you need to want it.

Rikbe,

You could have a buss full of people who were all there during the Big Bang, Andrew and his kind, would be looking for a GOD connection. They must have their God. They need their God.

All that would be fine with me, but they have to have converts. I guess they get an upgrade on their room, when they get to heaven.

NOW - THERE'S MORE THAN AN ELEMENT OF TRUTH IN WHAT YOU SAY....

Firstly, because you have actually SAID it. The seed of the concept is in your mind...........mmmm

Secondly, you may just be right, but to show you why, would simply open myself up to a whole load of further insults, and it's just too late in the day for that. If I believe that I would be believed - I would type all night - but I have the feeling that's not the case.

So it's 'goodnight from him' and it's 'goodnight from me'

Andrew
