I told my friend I might go to Odessa to meet my pen pal, then he said there were demonstrations in Kiev against the president there. Does anyone know what's going on there? It seems to be corrupt (judging only from my observation that opposition politicians seem to more vigorously prosecuted than other types of criminals). Anyway, as a foreigner, I know enough to steer clear of any internal politics.
