I was womdering how much Freedom you Russians enjoy? Here in america we are losing ours.

I firmly belive that freedom is more important than saftey.Freedom is everything,and any law that takes freedom away from citizens is bad.In many countries the citizens can do nothing about their goverments because they have nothing to do anything with.A few examples include China and Nazi Germany.Power breeds coruption,and all the power given to one is not a good dicision.Weither we like it or not their will always be guns.But rember that a gun is neither good nor evil,Hitler used them to kill inocent people,we used them to save them from this demise.By the U.S alowing their citizens to own firearms they are giving us a great freedom,letting us the citizen have equal powers and responsabilty that any other Goverment or Civiliazition would never think of giving their citizens.I truly hope that people can see that banning guns will not solve the problem.It will only disarm the Good citizens and take away their god givien right to freedom and self-defense.Guns are not the only problem.Look at the world and the sickness in T.V,movies,music,and the meida.The world is becoming a sick place,But by disarming the citizen populace will not solve the problem.Please dont take away my right to protect myself from all that is worng.Remember,we won our freedom by guns,we won our freedom to live more free than any common man hoped to in that time.We must live FREE forever! you Russians have new freedom your country has the manpower, resources, and sovengeny.I wish my country had some of your qualities.If Russia could get its act together and give its people more freedom it could be the best country in the world.my country is rotting at its core.everyday we lose more and more of our freedoms.I hope you Russians don't let that happen to your country.America is lost,destroyed by bleeding hearts,liberals,and corruption.however I have never been to Russia myself.IM curious if you Russians feel this way feel free to reply.

Your ideas are very questionable. The guns are never good. Guns are the voice of totalitarism and irresponsability. "Good citizens". A six years old child kills a girl in kindergarden. Is this good? Are 260 millions of americans responsible? I doubt about it. The only reason than keep USA making guns, it´s ´cause they sell tham to poor countries. It´s not only TV´s fault. The violence on TV is a consecuende of the hedonism than rules in rich capitalist countries. But, Why this don´t happen in Switzerland? It´s obvious. We can´t ban the TV, ´cause we will ban freedom. We can ban guns, ´cause guns doesn´t give freedom. They make us dependant of violence. Do you think the No-violence of Gandhi wasn´t good? Then, Why do you think guns are the solution? If USA deserves to be called the best society ever existed, it has to do things without violence. How the tirany of the USSR did exist? ´Cause of the gun´s force. And how did it dissapeared? By the force of freedom...

Kremlin has a point here. Look at England...not even their POLICE carry guns and there was only 1 reported gun death last year in LONDON, the largest city in Europe. Banning guns is not taking away freedom. Just because someone breaks into your house doesn't mean you have the right to shoot them. And oh god puhlease don't argue the 2nd Ammendment, that was written in a time where guns were needed to defend families from bears and such. If guns weren't available to the general public, would Columbine have happened? Jonesboro? You tell me.

1. The courts have consistently ruled that the Second Amendment applies to the regulated militia. Not the individual.
2. The Constitution gives Congress the right
to limit the Commerce in anything including GUNS.

Ok how can the 2nd amendment not apply to citizens??? Its in the BILL OF RIGHTS,"the right for THE PEOPLE".Yes columbine would have still have happened,you can take away guns but you cant take away peoples want to kill.You really think by baning guns no one will have them???HHAAHAHAHa.Good one,then only the killers and criminals will have guns,thats really good.Well have to cut this short,see you soon.
