Considering that the population of the earth is somewhere between 4 and 6 billion, it is also a stretch to believe that nearly half a billion die (or nearly die) each day. At that rate, the entire population would be lost in a week or two.

Just a fact- did you know that every second 3 children are being born on our planet...cound you count how many that are in say, a week?

Pointing out which countries consume the most food only serves to indicate which countries have determined to make food production a priority.

I thought food production was priority in every country?

While there are times when drought and other weather conditions cause famine, most often the cause is rooted in political and cultural problems.

Half of the US is also unable to produce food due to weather or geographical conditions. As for those countries- the main factor that thei suffer is because they are being EXPLOITED by the rich west, made into hungering slaves.

Actually me personally, I have great simpathy for the sistem of Tito, reading his books now even.
And yes there is a certain cross-over in both ideology and economical consequenses on the countries growth between Stalin and Tito's ideas.

The Soviet Union, as created by Stalin, went against almost everything Marx stood for, including freedom for the workers and equality between people.
