Question

I'm from the U.S.A. and communism tends to be a bad word. However, the U.S.A. is far more socalist than most of us will admit. We have public education. Not perfict but not as bad as many will lead you to believe. We "educate" the masses to a point. Our highway system is socialist for the most part. Yes there is tax on the gas which is a bit user pay, but for the most part their are very few toll roads.

Any system which does not reward the worker is unfair whether it be capatialistic or socaist. We need not to let the rich harm the envirnment just because they have $$$$$$$$. When corporations replace government then capatilism has gone to far. I'm for a hybread system and the mix is open for debait.

The ideal system will have opportunty for all and allow for wealth accumalation without short changing the worker. Idealistic mabie?

I know this www.russia.com but I'm more familar with the good old U.S.A. and have gotten some capatialist upset pointing out how they have benifited from our socalistic policies.

Perhaps I'm a communist as I believe the workers of the world should unite. Perhaps I'm a capatialist because I believe people should be able to accumalate wealth.

But USA isnīt socialist. First of all, any nation that deserves to be called like that MUST have a system of public education. USA has public education. But they are countries where the books of school are free (Mexico and Latin America). Second, in USA the economy is in hands of private. Socialism itīs the oppose of USA. I like USA īcause of freedom and ideals. But I like more Russia īcause it tried to make a new system. The thing I donīt like of Russia is that IT CRUSHES ALL ON HER WAY TO "progress". But I think your comments are very possitive.

I think that EVERY country must have public education!! Many americans don't even know what is sin, cos, tg, ctg etc. They don't even know where is Africa, don't know who won WW2 and so on. I don't want to say that americans are stupid, but your country don't have good PUBLIC education system.

I did not say that the USA is socialist. I said we are more socialist than most would admit. The problem with our education system is that math matical skills and concepts are not respected. Teachers of English show open disrespect/dislike of math and kids think if the teacher does not need math then they do not need math. Also many schools let kids who are athletic off the hook academically. Anyone in the USA who wants a good education can get it, but most kids will get out of it if you let them.

Disa...you just defeated yourself. I quote: "but your country don't have good PUBLIC education system." Maybe you should study up on your language before you insult OUR education system.
Z is correct though... recently at my school they dropped the C average for sports. Now you can be flunking out of school and still play football... To everyone, school was made for academics and not dumb jocks.

"Respect the dislike of maths"? Kids canīt learn what they want. USA lives in richness and now they donīt like to learn math? ABSURD. Whatīs next? Cartoon Network in school? The men who made USA a rich and great country did learn and do things they didnīt like. Is the hedonism in USA so big?
Also I have to say than the private education most of times disacredit the public one, making people studing in a public school not to have the same opportunities.. So, not everyone canīt have the good education they want.

I don't want to have the government tell me what I must work at or what doctor to see, so that makes me anti-socialist. Our public education system may not be great, but, is yours? America is made up greedy people. Kind and loving, but greedy. So, we use greed to our advantage: you want a new car, you gotta work for it. You want to be like Bill Gates, you gotta lie and steal. You want a new house, you gotta work. You know. Public education is a perk! You pay for it through taxes. If you try at school you will get a decent education and that's better than none.
