I opened this forum to hear the opinion of people about Vladimir Putin, now when he has been ratified as president of the Russian Federation. Even if I´m in dissacord with some of his attitudes and if I could have been russian I have abstend for voting, I have to wish him good luck and desire the best for russian future as an agent of peace and estabilization instead of a war factor.
PLEASE PUT RUSSIA INTO HIS HONOR PLACE BETWEEN THE CIVILIZATED NATIONS OF THE HISTORY!

Can't say much abt Putin, but I like his mystrey and cool face..... As a president, we can't say much whether he is good or bad yet.... only time will tell

You like the man because he has a "cool face"? People like you worry me.His Actions in Chechnia were questionable,I see not the point of killing thausands of people who hate russia,just to keep the country,they will never bow to russia.You can kill people,but not ideas.He has ALOT of work to do,the military is in shambales,the econmony..ect.,ect.,he seems like more of the same,Russia needs another Gorbachev,someone who can get results.i feel sorry for Russia.

I think there should be some questions raised on the war that is ongoing.... but remember I did not judge him from the point of view as a president.... but rather asa normal man. And remember, I'm not from Russia, so I do not have a say on whether the president is good or not.

Do you think that Putin's youth will have a strong effect on his bonding with the Russian people who support him? I don't know, my Russian friends say that many people there like him because he is younger.
