And you call yourself russian? Pride for something - inalienable part of russian nature.
Weststyle democrasy? What benefits it would have brought us? After Stalin everything was ok.

Are you saying that democracy and freedom are impossible and even bad for Russia?

I will never understand why you have to be proud of something that brings more bad than good. Just becuase it was in Russia? By that logic the Germans should be really happy about Hitler eh? Yet they're not...hmm, wonder why.... being a patriot and being totally blind are two different things.
If to folow my logic correctly we must be proud about Gagarin, not Stalin. I never mentioned that I adore Stalin or Zjuganov or KPSS. from where did you got that?? I have a feeling that everyone who's agains your defenitions are wrong commies and they are wrong because they are commies.

[quote]Comment on what Balamut? On the fact that a progressive Russia would have out performed the west, sure.

Aha. Good. now we need someone from the west to defend the west. Not you two patriots from the other side . Anyway it's not a fact that we could outperform the west. Proof plz.

And what's this "economic miracle"? You know anything about how economics work?
And what that suppose to mean? I know some about economy. Or US can't be called "economic miracle"?

"being a patriot and being totally blind are two different things. " gentle hint that you'r a real patriot and those who live here are just bunch of blinds?

And if you to put it like that:
Better to have good monarchy/totalitarism/authoritarianism than lousy democrasy.
