My name is pavel gorin and I strongly beleive in communism. In democracy most people are poor. In communism everyone is taken care of and given equal rights.

Hello Pavel

I'm interested by what you say. Do you really believe (and I ask to hear your view, not to attack your position, if you understand me? :-) that democracies are incapable of looking after their poor and sick people? And that Communism is always better? For example, it is widely believed that many people in North Korea right now are starving, despite a very extreme Communist regime there.

From your post it appears that your "strong belief" in the communist system pivots only on the economic component. If you think it through you'll see that equality is not found in economic measures. There will always be those who are 'more equal'than others if such evaluations as are present in economic thought are used as the standard. >>>Being "takened care of..." by the State is more commonly called WELFARE. Its been tried since ancient times, and has always failed. People of industry detest feeding lazy bums. >>>Democracy doesn't breed proverty. That is the work of corrupt persons holding political power that allows them to exploit others. All governments are evil, and all prey upon the people. The big dog kicks the sh#t out of the little dog, and trots off with the yummy bone. Thats just the way things are in the real world. Lastly, under all known forms of government(naturally we include religions)you are only equal to what the governing body determines you're equal to. But never has any government said that a peon is equal to the king. Its an image thing, you know.

Pavel can you make it a little more claer about why communism is so much better then democracy?
Since I dont belive that it would be nice to get it explaied to me, since the most one were I live only runs around and says their commies without knowing what a communist stands for.
Sad but true. How will we get a good politacal climate if everything is on whats "right" to do.

Hi All,

The concept of communism is good, however I don't believe that it should ever be used as a form of government.

A communist ruling should only be established if all whom are citizens of that nation wish to be governed through communism, and there is absolutely no chance of an entire nation being in total agreeance with that. I believe that governments should never force their people into participating in any such ideologies.

Democracy, on the other hand, is not really forcing anyone to do anything. It's allowing people to take advantage of their potential by not restricting them in any way. Democracy most certainly doesn't mean poverty. I'm sure when Russia was ruled by communism there was also much poverty. Australia is a democracy, and where's its poverty? There is none, and that's because we have a welfare system, whereby disadvantaged people receive money from our government. Perhaps this is what Russia needs? Maybe is has one, I don't know??

So, if communism is the idelology which is most ideal to you, why not join a commune? There, you would all be able to share equal roles and work together in supporting each other. This is far better than forcing people into doing things that they wish not to do, and restricting them from doing what they do want to do.

We should be aiming for freedom. Communism is a backwards step. It doesn't solve poverty. Poverty isn't brought on by a democratic ruling; poverty is brought on by goverments which see it to be more important that money is spent on ballet performances and architecturally designed buildings, than its needy citizens.

From Tim
