Question

DO you think life was easier for the Russian people, when it was the USSR, or now as Russia? (a seperate country)
I am interested in hearing your views, and why which one is better?

Better now, I am very sure about it, let me tell you why.
There is freedom now and that my friend is the most important part of your life, without this there is no sense to keep awake. I would like to be less dramatic but, that is the way it is, I am pretty sure that in the USSR there was poorness as well as today, the only diference is that today russians can choose what they want we know that, long time ago in the USSR time, world could not knows what was going on there.
But I have to be honest, USSR was a pretty dream, or wonderful whatever you want to call it, but mans are not equals, we have the necessity to be diference, maybe in the future (speaking by myself) when humanity get sick and tire of such inequality, we or I would bet for that kind of system because it is keeping the hopes of many mans.
I hope not be understood as a pro capitalism but man, coments to this topic have to be more complex.

>>Madrussian<< you are so right. During the communism, there were, like you pointed, no bums etc. And that makes me wonder, why so many russians gets pissed of, when I mention the word communism. I really dont understand you guys. You hate communism, ´cause there were a lot of political corruption and so, but also you like it, ´cause then you would not have bums on the streets!
Why don´t you forget the past, thinks forward and finds a leader in who you believe.
Actually, I have´nt heard the opninion of Putin from a russian worker. How is he? Everyone´s allowed to answer.
I think a lot of you russians, would prefer the USSR. Right?!
As Liev Ramos says:"There is freedom now" Of course there is freedom, freedom has always been there, also in the USSR. It´s up to people to choose, if they want to be controlled by the government or by themselves.
Liev Ramos also writes that USSR was a dream. No it was not. People made it a dream. It never was. On the outside, yes, but always there has been some sort of nightmare behind the facade!!
And that´s what you´re facing right now, all of your russians.
For four years now, I´ve wanted to be a russian. Your country, culture, and political history is so god damn exciting. Denmark is so peacefull, that´s it´s almost too boring to be a scandinavian.
Please God, send me to Moscow.
So my answer to you, s.aradabulof, is.
I would like to call the Union of Mother Russia, USSR again. I know I´m not a russian, and I´ll never be, but if I were, I´d voted for the old system. With communism.
The day Russia is called USSR, I´ll let Red Alert 2 be the game to be played in the entire Denmark. Trust me.
I´ll crush the motherf.ucking USA (i hate USA, especially Bush) and be victorious with the red´s!!
Catch ´ya on ´da flipside!

Jimmi;-)

madrussian I am totally agree with you about no bums no drugs or no open prostitutes, but I am sorry about religious, people who wanted visit to church they was there, for example (PASKA)yang, old, man, woman, they all was in churches, or in Asian republics
Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz, Kazakhstan and the other Republics which most of the population is Muslims they had there Mosques and they was free to visit there. As before I mentioned I am not Russky even not Russian but I was a student in ex. USSR, my believe the only think was wrong in USSR if you wasn’t a Communist you couldn’t move to higher position in your job which was very sad for all those people who weren’t a Communist.

Hi Jimmi I think you have to try to visit Russia, then you going to love & respect this country and the Russian people more than you do now. I wish you were there when Soviet Union was One Country. I am not Russian too but I never forget those years I spend there. I rely miss that life.
