Communism would be a good thing if you could make it reality, but you can´t. I wolud gladly live in a country whit communism, if everybody was equal, that was the problem whit Russia every body wasen´t equal.

Give me your opinion on this.

Sincerely Engel_Marx

"Capitalism is exploitation of one man by another. But in Communism, the position of the two men is reversed."

<<I wolud gladly live in a country whit communism, if everybody was equal, that was the problem whit Russia every body wasen´t equal.>>

If I work harder than you and make more money than you, why should I be equal to you, when you don't work as hard as me?

Does this analogy makes sense to you?

On the other hand, if you do not have the incentive to be rewarded for your hard work, why should you try to excel? This kind of mentality will open the way for mediocrity.

Reading some of the older postings, you hear this comment over and over again: Capitalism is evil, or bad or whatever. The secret of success of many Americans is that they work very hard and make a lot of money. This is true, Americans (bona fide Americans) love to push hard, and make good money. What's wrong with that????????
Well, if you like the more sedentary life style, with less material goods, the American way is oviously the wrong way. Or if you like to stay and party untill 3 a.m. in this case, it is a personal choice that will not make you rich or famous. (laugh).

I think you have never experienced staying in line for over 3 hours just to buy bread, or you never had to get up 4 a.m. to stay in line to buy whatever is they are selling, no matter what is is, for you can barter later on with somebody else. Is this the life you want to enjoy? Sure you will be equal to the rest, but in this case you will be equal to the needs and frustrations of having to go without petrol, toilet tissue, butter or meat or whatever. This is the picture of the former U.S.S.R under comunism. Only a few chosen ones were enjoying a better life and the right to buy in stores maintaned well stocked for the very special citizens of the U.S.S.R.

Dear Oca

Your right, but I was just playing whit the though. And if you think about a country were every body wanted communism, and no one was jalous on each other because of a job, then it would be utopia.

Hello you all!
Really I didn’t want get involved with all this topics about Communism. I was just reading your views! But this time I couldn’t hold myself.
So dear friends, I think modern Communism did kill the real communism. What I mean of the modern Communism! That’s the regime, which started after the death of Vladimir Iliach linin. By the name of the Communism the leaders of all the Communist counters was worked for themselves (Every think is belong to me, and nothing is yours) Then people should say (URRA, URRA, URRA)
I think most of you have to go back to mid- 18th century to understand about real Communism. I think if Marx, Engilis or even Lenin knew what is going to happen to Communism after them, they wouldn’t even mentioned about it.

Many Regards

s.aradabulof.

Dear s.aradabulof., what do you mean with that statement? Real communism, as you say, belongs to the 18th century. But you can´t say "modern communism". Communism is communism, rage against the system, capitalism, bourgeosy and abusers of the workers. That´s still the idea!
Oldfashioned or modern, well, still the same concept. Manifest!
On the other hand, you are right. A new wave of communism started after death of Lenin. But not an other kind. The idea is still the same, but other people, especially young ones, wants the communism back. Because of what it stands for!!
