Jeez......I seriously love how you guys are fighting like this. You could have a pretty good war right between yourselves.

Oh wait I forgot to put some majestic coat of arms or flag or unknown symbol at the bottom of my post. Sorry. No quote either.

Yes, in fact. And moreover, their national languages are second official languages in their republics.

Well, that's the way it has to be. It wouldn't make sence if they were forbidden to. But it would be weird, if people in Bashkortostan we're forced to study/speak komi language. Or if egyptians had to speak turkish. Which actually (for russians) shouldn't be so illogical, as well, turks conquered Egypt, didn't they?

If there were 30% komi in Bashkortostan then it would be logical.

forced? well maybe. but you know what. in almost every school in estonia russian is B-foreign language.

but would it be official? three official languages?

*sob* what happened in sixties was total demographic catastrophe for estonians. hope all these russian-speaking people weren't brought here back then. life would be some much more simple for estonia and also russia.

So you Marita can explain this to the state where are 30% minorities. Last poll showed that in Estonia are 19% of people who are considering that estonian is not their home language (this include ukraines, russians, latvians, finnish, swedes and so on)
DO you really think that we make russian as second official language? After this finns demand that they want to shop in Estonia and want to speak finnish here and we make anoter official language?
No way. None of estonians will not agree with this.
And I must rpeat your words dear Marita:
"Such behaviour looks like an inferiority complex. One who loves his nation, his language and culture will not impose his language to others. Because it causes hatred and nothing else."
Imposing russians language to estonians is exactly what you want us to do and it causes a lot of hatred - believe me. So if you are talking something about inferiority complex those who must embarasse are russians.

You are wrong, nobody is imposing Russian language to Estonians. The situation is quite opposite.
You are putting your blame on someone else.
