No one is imposing estonian language to russian neither. If they dont want to learn estonian thats fine. But they must understand that if they dont know estonian most of high salary jobs are closed for them, they cannot get citizenship, they cannot do any goverment jobs, because there are demand that you must know estonian language if you are goverment official.
Its their choice.
And Marita try to understand that this is ESTONIA not RF. We are independent country. Our official language is ESTONIAN. Is this really hard to understand?
Why you dont blame germans tat they dont have second official language - turkish? There are many turkish living in germany but they dont have second official language.

try to come to Moscow

What are you arguing about? Official country language is a must for anybody in the country, especially for the residents! Marita, try to come to Moscow, pretend to be a simple Japanese country boy not knowing Russian and try to find a job (any job) or just a place to stay!

But if many Russians in Baltic countries live there without learning local languages, I suppose they do not have any problems with jobs and everyday life. The question is whether it's justified to force them to learn local language by denying citizenship and citizen rights or not. In Russia everyone learns Russian by his own good will just to be able to live in society. I call it "natural" way, as opposed to "artificial" way of assimilation Baltic countries try to follow.

P.S. This was said a couple of tens times already, but Baltic nationals refuse to understand the difference between democratic (in language realm )Russia and their countries.

Don't mix a situation when you come from abroad and a situation when you live in your city all your life. It's quite different.
