The foreign is the unknown. There is fear of the unknown. Competition exists internationally, without regard to political standing or affiliation. They are over there, we are over here. Everyone aims to protect their own interests...first individually, second via social groupings or caste, and hopefully via country of orgin. And none of these are absolute.
