First of all, thanks for intelligent and intellectual aproach to the subject instead of emotional one.

How to measure it...hmmm, I guess this are my values, I'd like to know yours:

I guess that for me, a country should respect the will and rights of it's citizen, do not act with cruelty neither toward it's own citizens neither toward it's neighbours, be concentrated on the good of it's citizens, and respect Christian morality as much as possible.

That's for 'barbarian' or 'not-barbarian'.

For 'primitive' or 'not-primitive' it's the level of living, developement, technology, medicine, education, standart of life, etc.

Yes and Poland specyfically did opress other countries as well.

We liberated some countries.

Which countries did you exactly liberate? Heard something about Geoergia and Armenia, but I suspect your definition might be wider

How many countries did you or other "more civilized" countries liberated?

We, Polish, [helped] liberate/keep independent Latvia in 1920 and Austria (Vienna) from Ottomans as far as liberations go.

I'm sure there were other examples, like the Western Front during WWII...

We can't say to a nation that it is primitive...There is no such a thing as primitive nation or less primitive.

Especially, I can't see Poland as a more aaadvanced country than Russia or the SU at any time in history.

What can be the case is backward countries or as it was said, peripherial countries.

Alex, let's try to play on his field.

IMO, foolish to count who done more. But if it's the only way to convince you. Ok. Answering your question: I like nations, countries, I can hate them, but I don't judge whos more or less primitive. IMO It can't be judged. Why? - read Alex_Ivanov's post.

A "civilized" or "non-civilized" nation is quite a Western definition.
But other peoples may have other points of view how they want to live. Or not?

Yes,though I think every nation/civilisation uses that phrase or another similiar one to describe things it view negatively.

Yes, of course.

So...I'd like to familiarize myself with Russian outlooks on how people should live, I mean, what are the core values for you, what do you value, what kinds of things do you see negatively, what do you see positively etc?

Angry

My PC broke down thanks to Win.$#%# :E
Writing from work. Shortly:

Nikak. (We don't)

I don't remember somebody in Russia raised that kind of question nowhere and never. That's about civility (or how it's called.)

How oters should live? Adhere to decalogue.
