Nazi stuff was already judged in Nurnberg so why we have to repeat it?
And as you tell that some element in red army behaved badly so was in Waffen SS - some elements just behaved badly and thats it. And why do you keep talking about Molotov Ribbetrop pact? Point is that USSR occupied an independent countrys like Latvia, Lithaunia and Estonia. |

Because Bush and Rice took the bogus line of the Latvian and Estonian governments about how Russia needed to acknowledge what had already been stated about such.
That's bs given how they didn't take the Latvians and Estonians to task on the points I mentioned. |

Introduce efforts to have Russian only speakers learn the native tongue while not restricting their rights.
Over at The NYT Russia/East Europe forum, I understand that Latvia is either in the process of or already has some crap implemented about having to show a family presence in Latvia for a hundred years or so as citizenship criteria. [Edited by mikeaverko on 19th May 2005 at 04:39] |

Yes Latvia has law by wich you can give citizenship to a person who has lived in Latvia over 100 years without citizenship exam.
And I will tell again: all that you want us to do we are already doing. In russian schools (few wich are left) they can learn estonian language. The ones who are living ere almost 50 years are language lessons a waste of time - they live here already so long and dont speak word of estonian - this shows that they have something wrong in their brains or something. And please give me example of restricted rights to russian speakers? If russian speaker have learned our language and respects our culture we ave no problem with them. And so most of native russian speakers are doing. But lesser part of them are demanding rights that are absurd - like second official language, citizenship exam in russian language and so on. These are stoopid demands but unfortunately these few make so much noise that for example you are thinking that we eat russian speakers here for lunch. That is only because your media is giving false or very one sided information. |

White Zimbabweans on paper don't suffer the same discrimination as Russian speakers in Latvia and Estonia. This despite the fact that as white Rohdesians, they were far more brutal towards the indigenuous population. Estonia and Latvia had the highest standard of living in the USSR and also had a good per capita share of Commies and influential ones at that.

You have not answered any of my questions and just keep talking something about africa and discrimination. I really dont know how they are living in Africa and this is not my business too.
As I told no one is discriminated here. You have not told any example of discrimination too. So my conclusion is: 1. You are stoopid (I dont believe that because you know much of Africas political situation) 2. You dont have any example of discrimination and you are fooled by russian media. I think that probably second one is true. |
