14th SS Grenadier Division
Ukranian SS troops or is Ukrain not Russians now considering Kiev's Russia and Russian origins in that land. All those who went up against the Russian motherland weather it was Vlasov of SS troops should have been punished and it brings tears to my eyes to see the SS veterans parading in Estonia while Russian veterans sit and watch. Should've shot them 60 years ago just like other SS troops. Those were volenteers, they volenteered to kill, and they should've payed for it.

I must say that it brings tears to my eyes too that statues to the soviet soldiers, who burned down my home village, shot my granduncles and sent my grandparents to Siberia, are still standing in Estonia. And those who made these kind of warcrimes still are celebrateing their "heroic" deeds in 9. may. Should be day of mourning but they celebrate it with big party.

Honoring Nazis isn't better and most of the rank and file Red Army didn't commit crimes.

I must tell you again that we dont honour any nazis. We honour our soldiers who tryed to defend our homeland against invadeing USSR. And as you told that most of red army didnt commit any crimes I must say that most of Estonian Waffen SS members didnt commit any crimes at all.

What about the polizeis then? The ones who volunteered to slaughter Belarusian villages? Go on. Let's talk about their "heroism".

As I told before Im not telling that in Estonian Waffen SS units were no criminals. Ofcourse there were ones. But you cannot tell that all men who served in waffen SS are criminals.
Polize batallions are different thing and they are not connected with waffen SS units. Same thing what mikeaverko told about Vlassov and Kamenski brigade.
If I take your principles I must say that all Red Army units are criminals - some units of them made lot of war crimes in Estonia.
