All I keep hearing lately is how Russia is't free anymore. Not just Fox News either. President Bush is even saying this. There's all this talk about russia being east and the Ukrain is now westward learning'what does all this mean? I believe in democracy and I love Russia.

I'm amazed why US is called free democracy. Only 2 parties exist. Incredible!

And no need to listen what Bush said, he's not smart anyway.

You should add "two parties without any real ideological difference between them". There's nothing wrong if country has two different parties.

Alex they ave ideological differences between them. Mostly economical differences but they are differences anyway.
And there are many parties in USA, included nazi and communist party, but they have never sucseeded to get enough voices to get into the senat.
And what kind of idol of yours, dear puppyshoes,is president Bush that if he is saying something it really must be so?

So-called "free democracy" still exists. Freedom to kill, to rob, to steal, to kidnap. All best features of "democracy".
But there is still no real freedom. Nobody can express his opinion on TV, for example, if his opinion is different from democratic.

These things are not common for democracy Marita. Its sad but tese kinds of thing still happen but they are not anyhow bound with democracy or any other kind of goverment form. And btw all these kinds of crimes are somehow common in other types of goverment forms not democracy.

It's said that Dems are for more government control in economy, more social care and Reps are for more lassiez-faire economy. But Dems never installed any real state regulations and Reps never dropped control completely. So their differencies are mostly on paper.

Their only real difference is different sponsors whom they have to satifsfy in order to get donations in the future. Their foreign policy doesn't differ a lot: they all want to democratize or save someone and install puppets everywhere. So, the further from US, the more similar they look.
