How do you get the three parts of Poland being separated from each otherfor only a hundred years?

Kiev has been together with Moscow much longer than it has with Lvov/Lviv.

You want the Communist drawn boundaries of Ukraine left in tact without Russia. Noticeable selectivity on your part.

1770s to 1917= 150 years.

Why you go Lviv again? Mazepa, Shevchenko, Lesia Ukrainka, Drahomaniv, the guys who ran Ukr. Nat'l Republic lived before (well before) Kyiv was united with Lviv. Sorry, west hasn't "infected" the centre with anything. It's desperate thinking to blame it on the other guy (west).

Trust me Misha, Russia is ready for a Jewish leader as much as America is ready for a black one. It's nothing against anyone, just a simple fact.

And here I actually agree with you. Then again, I am "pro-Western".

Maybe we're arguing in different languages, but I hope you understand I'm not against an independent Ukraine. It's just I don't believe ALL of modern day Ukraine wants to go your route.

Which one do you mean? - territory-wise Ukraine shouldn't be one. Or just that people's opinions differ.

Maybe, however, based on actual reality, Russia appears closer to being "ready" for a Jewish president than America is for either a Jewish or Black one.

Meanwhile, there was plenty of evidence showing orange fraud in Yushchenko strongholds. Besides CIS observers, those from the British Helsinki Human Rights Group and the Israeli based Study of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Eastern Europe are witnesses of this much covered-up fraud.
CIS observers? Almost all CIS states are dictatorships. Look at what happen at Andijan in Uzbekistan, where 1000 people were massacred by Islam Karimov's thugs. Observers appointed by people like him have no credibility with me.
