i agree with you marita....

i still have a lot of dout wheather america is helping iraq.......
yeah according to g0123(whatever) american oil compainies taking control over iraqi oilfield .........is helping iraq because of the american there is virtual civil unrest in the country..... with terrorist strike in iraq everyday......but targetting whom everyone thinks about american's why........ it is the iraqi's themself for not fighting against america.. who accused saddam of ammasing weapons of mass destrusction actually compared to bush and saddam the saddam is better.....
he knows to handle his country properly... unlike anyone.....
did you see any such situation during his rule.... foeget the uprising etc which happened for a few days but compared to the current situation like suicide bombing.........(everydays why....)

and mr hero(g0123) your american friend what have done in veitnam nowadays people see american goverment advocating against the use of chemical weapons ,nuke weapons etc when they on;ly were the first one and probably the last one to use it they are very gross......in veitnam they used chemical weapons go to veitnam eventoday and you will know what i mean........

I am not spokesman of US administration, why I have to explain
US policy, and I don't mean every thing done by US is right.
for instance, I think iraq war was unreasonable too,
But,generally, I believe US play a positive role in the world.
don't forget, German, France also oppose iraq war, but they
are still ally of US.

Why you think China must challenge US?
As a Chinese, I don't think US as our enemy
American is our friend,they not only promote freedom and
democracy all over the world but also contribute a lot to
the world(though some action I don't agree).
Russia is a selfish country, they just care about their
own interest, and I feel severe nationalism in this forum.
It is dangerous.
Now US see China as a "stockholder", I think in future,
when China transform to democratic society, China and US
will become friend or even ally.

Perhaps you didn’t realize that America thinks differently. You as a Chinese should understand that it is your divine duty to influence others, like thousands and thousands of years ago. You said it yourself, America is promoting his own believe to the world, which isn’t wrong, but it has the capability to do so. Similarly, instead of following others, which also isn’t wrong, you should learn to promote your own believes. America is a strong country, and following its footstep might not make China as a superpower, because there will be only one superpower. You can think America as a friend, but who said friends couldn’t challenge friends? Without challenges, there would be progress, if you speak Chinese, you should know the idiom, “yo zing zheng, cai yo zing bu.”

every country has its own interest,
but a responsible country will not only concentrate
on their own interest.
for example, South Asia tsunami last year, every country
donate a lot to help those victim, Russia didn't donate
even a penny, but the donation from US rank the first.
and US army take the largest action after WWII to rescue
residents there.
US spend a lot of money to help poor country every year,
and these years US spend 15 billion to help Africa resist HIV.
and the individual donation from US citizen even larger than
government donation.
I don't think a country like that as our enemy.
of course, US often criticize China of its human right,
freedom, democracy status, but in these sector, China do have
some disadvantages.

And again perhaps you didn’t realize the state of Russia now. Do you think Russia, as the former superpower, has the capability to donate such amounts of money? The Russian administration is rather corrupted, I know, but it doesn’t mean that Russia isn’t good, or in your sense, great country. The US was able to deploy those troops to save the victims, but other countries can’t. Lets say you are poor, and go donating large sums of money, what will happen? Yes you might save a life, but you will kill your entire family.
