You are right about one thing: this country's economy is fueled by small business and employed people. But to think that lobbies run this country is nuts. Powerful? Yes! Run it? No! For every oil lobbyist in Washington, there is an environmentalist standing right next to them.

And one in 59,000 homes has been foreclosed in this current recession. Guess what? There are 59,000 people who disagree with your viewpoint to every ONE who agrees.

Get a hold of a book called "Think and Grow Rich". Thoughts are things. And the more you buy into the belief system that everything is bad, it will start to materialize in your life.

Have you thought about starting your own business? Stop griping and do something to change your situation if you don't like what you see.

a little bit too late,CS.I've been a buisness owner for about 10 years now,I'm a general contractor, mighty siccessfull, might I add. This year was THE first time I HAD to let peope go.This year was THE first year I lost many jobs just becouse I had to pass growing gas and material prices onto the customer.I donT need to read some book to know what is going on.All I have to do is to compare my bottom line to couple of years back.and I ain't the only one,by far...every contractor I know had to cut his labor force by anywere from 20 to 50%% or hire "workers" from across the Rio-Grande.

So people have to move to another house. WOW! That's real tribulation and persecution.

Maybe some people in Mexico or China would love to live in a great house where they are not sure about their landlord's financial situation.

So some people might have to move from one home with electricity and running water to another home with electricity and running water. That is horrific. Cry babies are a dime a dozen.

You love our vets so much you want to go join the Ukrainian army. Nice!

And where are all these vets who have "been thrown out on the streets"? Few people get as much honor in our country as vets and fire fighters. It sure ain't teachers.
