When Gorgian conflict erupted , what did Ban Kee Moon did as the head of the top world body? Nothing . I think he is really useless that’s why EU and NATO taking power in the world. Even in Kosove UN mission is going to be replaced by EU force.

The UN can govern me, and have its own real armed forces, when it becomes a duly elected body, and not just a talking shop populated extensively by appointed cronies of corrupt dictatorial regimes.

Until then, I think it's useful as a forum for international discussion and consensus. Period.
