How do you define Europe???

Can European culture be defined as something different from other cultures? What is the borders of Europe and why?

I mean no disrespect, and maybe I am wrong, but do you seriously expect a serious answer? To give a thorough answer to "how do you define Europe" would mean to write an anthology on at least 2000 years of history, religion, culture, and everything else!

I wish I had the kind of time (like a year or two) that it would take to give a good answer. Well, if you pay me I will write you a book about it!

One thing I can tell you right away is that there is no ONE "European culture". Yes, there may be defining characteristics of it which can distinguish it from what YOU might call "Asian culture". But within Europe itself there are many cultures.
