In Defense of Americans

Despite all the things Marxman says about Americans, I would like to say that being American, I don't fit any description that Marxman has yet posted.

Marxman, all you have to say is negative things about the citizens of the United States - and you have every right to, but I would like you to think a little more when you spew all of your insults about. I do not follow any bloke with a bag of cash, I don't steal from poor people to make money, I don't blindly hate anything that isn't American, and I even disagree more with the government than I agree with it.

Please realize that there are plenty of people in America that fit the description you give, but there are even more who don't.

Some people are so filled with hate that it doesn't matter what is said to prove differently. Some illnesses are treatable, some are not.

some people do have good reasons to hate america.

That's fine - then hate America. But the average American has little to do with public policy. All I am saying is that one should direct his aggression toward the guilty party and not innocent bystanders.

I didn't order the US to bomb Kosovo, exploit factory workers in China and Mexico, or unfairly support Israel in its conflict with Palestine.

Read EVERY post Marxman has made and tell me I haven't been targetted. He says Americans are evil - which includes me, an American.

If Marxman is a real communist - socialist, he should know, that we are brothers and sisters.
