Angry

I have the impression that Russia is still a powerful country.
In all these years, after the falling down of the Berlin wall, the press wanted us to think that the USSR, that powerful country is completely dead. The "communist nightmare" is completely gone.

I think that this is a big bull****, because Russia as still a lot of weapons and if USA start to piss on Russia's feet it can become a big international problem, just like during the cold war (or maybe worse).

I would like to know other opinions about this.

greetings

Paths of peace,
Your impression is utterly correct, Russia is not dead and communism was not a nightmare. Russia still possess more tanks, subs and ships and even more important nuclear weapons. America will never admit it but they are still scared of Russia, although there is now peace between the countries, Russia is not an a** licking member of America like England or Germany and any means to try and pressure the country will result in severe consequences for the USA. Communism is the way forward for consolidation and once that is realised in Russia and it is re built, it will swallow Europe, Asia and the USA will be defenceless against it. Communism was not an evil system, it was helping Russia and just as it realy got going, fools like all capitalists and Gorbachev and Yeltsin stop history, if I was Putin, I would have them both shot right now.

In addition many former Soviet republics such as Czechoslovakia and the Ukraine are ready to unite with Russia and re form the USSR due to the fact without Russia all there is in their countries is poverty and poorness, no progress, once someone realises western reforms will not work in a society like Russias, Russia will emerge with a great leader who will once again put Russia into its rightful place.

Dear Path,

In my opinion Russia is not a pushover by any means. It has enormus military potencial. Getting rid off the southern republics it just became stronger as they are more united.

Dear Stalin,

I don't want to correct you, but Czechoslovakia has never been a republic of the USSR. It was a communist satellite country.

Best Regards: Vorosilov

dear Stalin,

are there in Russia many people who miss communism?
And how many of them miss Stalin? (if they're still alive!)

Vorosilov,
I never stated that, I justs said Czhechslovakia want to become part of Russia because it has poor living and Russia helped it a lot.
Path everyone misses communism, Stalin is only missed by those who lived under him like my grandparents but many people who are young do not learn about Stalin thoroughly and are under the impression that he is just a tyrant.
