If communism is the way the world should be then why did it failed?

I think what JUlia_P is trying to say in her analogy is that while she doesn't like vegtables she isn't going to go out and blacklist everyone who eats carrots.

Take my mother for example. She said to me one day when I was a kid, "I don't belive in socialism, as I think it's a system that will never work. However, I think socialism above any other 'ism' has the best intentions, and at the rate of human suffering, I can see why a humanitarian would want to be a socialist. "

Oh... I'd say I was about 14 when she said that. But I was in my 20's before I actually started to call myself a socialist.

If there would be communism, then humanity wouldn't regress so much to a level of capitalism. Simple logics.

There was never even socialism, not to mention communism.

You know guys, this is getting tedious. The way you say people don't understand communism and hence don't like it, same goes for you and capitalism. You don't know what the heck goes on in it. All you have is some unfortunate first-hand observations, that's nothing. And in respopnse, you will probably post some negative points about it, like how many died, and how much this, and how much that, which will probably have nothing to do with capitalism per se but rather with the governments that oversee it. Nevertheless, you still don't understand it, because if you did, you wouldn't post messages like that.

If you are referring to me, I can only tell you that I know more about communism and capitalism than I should. If any leader today knew what I know or any aware communist, then there wouldn't be **** in the world.
