Hi, My name is Julia. I'm from St-Petersburg, Russia. I've finished school 2 yars ago, but I remember very good the whole 11 years of my studying in it.
Schools in Russia usually have 11 grades. Everyone has to study 9. After you can go special institutes and get a 'phhysical' speciality, or pass exams and continue studying in 10th and 11th grades. After you can go to Universities and get a well-paid job.
Children study at schools from Monday to Friday (though in some schools this year they start studying on Saturdays too). As for the time: lessons last 40 minutes each one, usually there are 5-7 lessons a day. 9a.m.-15p.m.
The subjects are very different. As far as I know in USA teachers do their best not to bore children. In Russian schools children work as hard as it is possible. That's why they become very good specialists.
I hope, I've answered you questions.

grades in russian schools and colleges are assigned on a five point scale, from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest grade. the system looks a little like this:

Отлично - 5(пятёрка) - Excellent
Хорошо - 4(четвёрка) - Good
Удовлетворительно - 3(тройка) - Satisfactory
Неудовлетворительно - 2(двойка) - Poor
Очень Плохо - 1(единица) - Very Poor

but i am not russian, so i could be dreadfully wrong.

Hi Julia, I want to ask you something to!
We all know that in USA is the easiest school on earth!
And In Slovenia, where i live, we have preety hard school and experts confirmed that! Now here is the problem! If you want to study in America (well i donґt really want that )
you have to do a lot of exams just that you are accepted on the University! How is with that in Russia! I would really grateful for answer on this question! And there is one more question! How many leanguages do you learn in Rusian schools! We learn 3 or 4 if you want!
