Hi! I've been thinking about taking a summer course in Russia for next year.
My worries are the racism there. I am Puerto Rican, but my skin is white and my hair black and my eyes brown. I'm afraid i'll get attackedby skinheads (I've been told there are a lot of skinheads there, is it true?). May I be a target for a racist group? Thanks, Arian |

This seems to be a common question. But there's all sorts of different people over there, and they don't seem have a problem.
There's far more violence in american cities. I'd say if your not afraid of living in America, where you're more likely to be shot and stabbed than almost anywhere else, then you shouldn't have a problem in Russia. |
