While we are brainstorming our way to infinity
I got another play like it.>==>There are electromagnetic waves around the earth. As a matter of fact my notes here arrived to your PC on those waves. If you have ever built your own motorized battery charger useing a 12 VDC altenator from an automobile,,You would have learned that it takes near 8 HP to get the amps you need.WHY? Electromagnetic resistance. This is much like an air pump except it pumps electromagnetical waves from Earth fields. The resistance indicates capability because of the 8 HP input to pump the amps. 30 (FYI) This can be applied to elevateing a craft in those fields if principles are properly applied. The craft would climb up and move by electromagntics. In order to get maximum effeciency one would need to get the effect with little weight in the device.I am thinking if you get an altenator to fly then you could go next to radiation effects in some fashion as the HAM radio antenna and transmitter couples with EMW. OK boys..I put up that ballon..Go ahead and shoot it down. Oh yes,,As there is less atmosphere in space to resist movement,,The antenna driven one would be highly effecient and work on the principal of ..For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.Radio waves travel in space well.

water on Mars
Hello, I noticed you all were talking about Mars earlier in the thread, and thought you might find this interesting:

Welcome comrade Blueliner!
And thank you for the contribution. Other ways to get to Mars without rockets are via electromagnetic cannon and the "cyclers" proposed by American astronaut and engineer Buzz Aldrin in Air and Space magazine, Oct./Nov., 1990, pp 40-47. The cyclers take about 26 months to cycle between Earth and Mars and should accordingly be very comfortable, if not luxurious, and safe. Modern ocean liners are not so much used solely for transportation, perhaps the space liners of tomorrow will return us to a more genteel age of travel. With enough of them in different orbits one departure every month could be assured. The humble tovarisch proposes that the universities of tomorrow should be located upon such craft and that youth willing to perform their national service obligations be dispatched to terraform Mars, learning what they need to know and becoming acclimatized to the Martian gravity on the outbound leg, serving a few years on the Red Planet, and reversing the process on the way back to Earth, if they choose to return.
The cannon idea is probably more suited to freight. Imagine an enormous linear induction or linear synchronous motor located in a convenient near Earth location, while its twin awaits in the region of Mars. Firing a cargo capsule with a burst of electrical energy, the cannon can also recieve and DECELERATE incoming cargo capsules fired by its twin, storing the kinetic energy for the next shot. Anyway Mars is like an "instant planet" kit, very easy to terraform, just a couple centuries and a whole new world for humanity, with plenty of room for everybody.LET'SDOIT! T. |
