Lightbulb Yugoslavian FIAT?

Hello Yaroslav!

Maybe the car you saw, was constructed in Yugoslavia... (in Serbia they use the Russian alphabet). Recently I saw a television programme where they made FIATS in a Yugoslavian factory. Because they got a license from FIAT, I advise you to contact the FIAT works in Turin.

The address FIAT, TORINO, ITALIA

will be enough, I think.

Good luck!
Marinus

ZAZ-965..the Russian Fiat 600...

Thanks for the help Marinus..i didn't have any luck there..but after searching..i finally found it..The car i saw in Bulgaria, was indeed a Russian car..it was a Zaz-965..based on the Fiat 600..I did find the Yugoslavian version too..the Zastawa 750..which looks virtually identical to the Fiat 600..?except for the missing Fiat badge on the front of the car.The Zaz-965's body was modified a little bit..therefore easier to distinguish from the Zastawa 750..

Hi!

What can you tell me about the "Kossack" 4x4 car? I know it's made in Russia, but I can't quite figure out the manufacturer...I think it's Riva?? I'm not sure. I can't seem to find them around here, though I've seen a few cars around. I think they're great!

Thumbs up For Glock Girl....

Hi Glock Girl...The car/4x4 you're asking about is made by Lada..the model is the Niva.which there are many variations of..especially in Russia..."Kossack" is the Canadian model name for it..

Ha ha ha! Ohhh! You are kidding me!! That's great! I didn't know that "Kossack" was specific to Canada, though I kind of thought it was specific to exports out of Russia. That's too funny! Well, even if they're cheap, they sure are neat little cars. We have no other 4x4 cars (other than people's old AMC Eagles) that are 4x4. I'd love to have one...I'd love to do it out and off-road rally race it! What fun that would be!!
Thanks for the information!

Amy
