Britov patents cancer vaccine
The Vladivostok Daily Photo by Vasily Fedorchenko Vasily Britov, 72, in his lab Primorye veterinarian Vasily Britov last week patented a vaccine possessing astounding effectiveness against cancer and some other diseases. Based on his tests, Britov said that nine of 10 patients taking the vaccine recuperate. He added that the vaccine is effective against more than 100 diseases. Live parasitic worms in the vaccine help win the battle against such diseases as cancer, ulcers and arthritis by boosting the body's immune system. The remedy is based on trichinae - tiny parasites that can infest the bodies of birds, animals and humans, sometimes causing the deadly disease trichinosis. Britov first struck on the idea of a possible link between trichinosis and enhanced immunity in 1979 when he observed a startling recovery in a geologist who had suffered the disease. It appeared that anti-genes developed when the body fights trichinosis greatly improve immunity to other illnesses. Through studies, Britov found that people and animals who survived the disease did not contract cancer. He developed the vaccine and first tested it on himself in 1983. He then tested it on multiple patients who despaired while attempting recovery through conventional medicine. Though formally illegal, the tests proved the vaccine's curative effects. A veterinarian, Britov said his work on the vaccine was not his specialty, but it took more than 20 years of his life. "This is a by-product ... but I'm glad that this invention has been good for people," he said Wednesday. "Now, I turned it over to medical officials. My mission is over." Accounts from people who have tested the vaccine confirm its wondrous effects. "Thanks to his vaccine many people got rid of their health problems," Yevgeny Nivin told the Vladivostok News in 1997. A colleague of Britov, he had all his family vaccinated in 1994. A cyst on his 13-year-old daughter's gum dissolved. "She was very weak, every winter she used to get all sorts of colds. Now we have all forgotten about it." Vladimir Makeyev, a pensioner, was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1994. Doctors said he would live no more than six weeks. He refused conventional treatment, opting for Britov's vaccine instead, and was talking to the Vladivostok News in 1997. "This is such a good natural method," he said. "It costs nothing while cancer patients are such a big burden for a family." The vaccine is taken in two doses about three months apart, and causes a reaction similar to trichinosis. Patients may suffer high fever and muscular pain lasting about 10 days. But the worms are processed by the body so the disease will not hurt people. Britov said the patent secures his rights to the vaccine in 130 countries. http://vd.vladnews.ru/2001/0009/231_20/TXT/TXT04.asp http://vaccine1.narod.ru/ http://vaccine1.narod.ru/main_ru.html [Edited by Deni on 7th October 2001 at 11:08] |
