I hope to see the meteor showers, but I can't stay up too late anymore -- got work and too much homework.

Angie

It would be nice to have binoculars but meteorites move too fast for binocs. I have seen Meteorites that lit up the whole sky. It gives you a scarey feeling. It is something to see.

Cool Meteor Shower

According to NASA Australia and the South Pacific actually get the best show this year, I plan to spend my Mon night Tues morning freezing my silly petard off under the stars. Where did you get your report from by the way? butterfly...

I saw the show

After a night of partying and dancing I got up at 4am and watched the meteorite show.
Meteors came from all directions in all parts of the sky; most were white and left no after light, while some were red and some seemed to have a kind of radiation that lit the sky around them; sometimes the streak remained for a split second after the meteor passed.
But to my displeasure none were very large. I have seen meteors that lit up the sky like the moon.
