Hi,
i haven't been in Moscow for a long time, but i doubt that you'll find any resorts there. the best place for skiing and snowbording is NORWAY!!!!! proven quality!
good luck,
ania

Wink

to ania:

oh really?!

in that case name at least one place there you could ski from the hight of 4800 meters down to the hight of 1800 meters in Norway.
More than 15km long?

I really doubt it. Sure it's not near to Moscow, but same close as Norvegian ski resorts anyway.

Hi, dear,

sorry, didn't mean to make jokes on you, (though i was laughing a lot while reading your 'snowboarding in Moscow' message.)

At first, have you ever been to Moscow? Have you ever been in Norway? it seems you hadn't, in none of these places.

Secondly, i had never had such desire as to measure the hight or lenght of slopes in the ski senter.

Finally, if you are REALLY interested in ski resorts in Norway i can tell you some good places.( and i can send you some really nice pictures as well)

and please don't be offended.

Cool

2 Ania:

well well,
you probably noticed that i'm not the one asking for the ski-resort near Moscow.

There are some resorts (called resorts to some big extent) near Moscow, but for sure no Real Mountains.

First, regarding your questions:
double yes .

Secondly: please don't be offended as well. Just the peremptory way of your message brought me to make a posting in the same manner. The idea was not to insult you(i was hoping you would notice the smile) but to inform you and the others about some wonderful places to ski in Russia (actually i was writing about Elbrus mountain).

And yes I am REALLY interested to know more about the resorts in Norway. I will really appreciate any info and pictures and thanks in advance for them.
My email:

see ya.

Question

Hello, I'd like to go skiing on Mount Elbrus. I heart you have lifts there and you can even heli-skiing. Is this right? Could you give me some information or links about how to get there. We (a few friends and me) are looking for a nice resort with good ski-facilities and also good night life for next february or march.
