How easy would it be for me to get involved in a pickup game of hocky during a Moscow winter. I may be there in a year. Should I bring gear or buy it when I get there? And will anyone teach me how to play? I love watching hocky and I know the rules, I just haven't gotten the chance to play as any "deprived" American child from Iowa, man its boring here!

And if you can't skate all that well, play in goal. Trust me, the guys on the ice make it look SO much easier than it actually is...
