Hello everyone . I have a question for all you sports fans ?
How do you think Russia will do in Euro 2004 ? Their defence has some injuries but will stop them ? Surely they must be able to beat Greece ? Which russian players will shine in a few days time ?

Well I was right that at least Russia managed to beat Greece but in the light of the latter's result against France what does that then say about Russia ?
With the unavailabilities in the squad were they beaten before they started. Was defeat merely a self-fulfilling destiny.
Gusev had been labelled a Russian Beckham and sadly played as badly as the real Beckham did in the tournament.
In the "New Russia " - is the ever increasing individualism reflecting in the lack of progress on the team front? A Failure to work with the collective, to think beyond the individual - to work as a team .
