figure skating

hey does anyone out there like figure skating? i love it. its my favorite sport. i especially
like russian ice skaters. my favorite is evgeny plushenko. anyone else like it?

I don't know much ABOUT figureskating, but I LOVE watching it! I think it's cool to watch how people can be so graceful on the ice (especially as I find it so hard!)

Actually, where I live in Vancouver, BC we just had the Worlds. I watched a lot of it on TV and was surprised Elvis fell so much (considering he was pretty good before) well...not that I care too much
I wish I could've gone to see them, but I had to work, including one day of training downtown...dear God the traffic was the s**ts!!

The same goes for gymnastics on TV. I love watching it too.

Hi there!

Well, I didn't get a chance to watch much of the Worlds, since I was out of the country at the time, but I did see the closing ceremonies. I watched Plushenko do his "Sex Bomb" routine and I absolutely loved it. I have never laughed so hard!!! It was hillarious and it is great that he can have such a great sense of humour.

i agree completely, the "sex bomb" routine was hilarious! i could have died laughing!
i did feel pretty badly for elvis stoiko, though. i heard about all the injuries he got this
season and had a little sympathy for him. i also enjoy watching gymnastics, although i have
not been into it as much as i used to be.
