American Football

Back in the '80's I read an article where a Russian football team (expierimental) traveled to Nevada to play a local High School team.
I am curious, has the sport recieved any interest in Russia, as it has throughout Europe? If so is there any organized leagues? Just curious. Anyone with any information please post.

There are other leagues, but they are not as advanced as american NFL. there is CFL, which is canadian. I know there is Europe football, I know some American players go there, for a chance to play in American NFL. NFL is the league to watch, they have the most trained players in the whole world. actually, there is another league in america, its new, but its not as good as nfl, not even half as good, its called XFL.

I LOVE the XFL. Of course it's not the NFL, but it is good competition and football, when the NFL is in the offseason. My question I guess should have been worded do they play American football in Russia. Thanks for the reply Ben and GO SAINTS, lol

This coming NFL season should be tough, i can see a lot of teams do good, if team like Saints are playing well, thats when we know end of the world is coming, jk. lol
