Will Russia who who have already qualified for WC-02 be joined by Ukraine, another great CIS footballing power? Ukraine face Germany in a cross-group decider of runners-up to see who packs luggage to go to Japan/Corea.

Germany's record of WC appearances is dazzling -- 2 times world champions and a countless times finalist.

Nevertheless, they haven't been playing up to their reputation lately and only managed to run up to their qualifying group leader as was said above.

DOES IT LEVEL THE CHANCES? COULD UKRAINE BEAT THE GERMANS AS THEY DID 56 YEARS AGO, BEING PART OF THE RED ARMY?
