Unbelievable!!
Either a) you know absolutely nothing about the sport ... or more plausibly b) you have absolutely no common sense. To you, sitting by your computer, having nothing better to do than make ignorant statements on message boards, those gold medals means nothing. But to two Canadians who have worked so hard, it mean alot. And this incident should mean something to everyone in the sport, as it is another stain on an already tarnished record. The judges not only unfairly robbed Sale and Pelletier, but they compromised the worth of the Russian gold medals. Do you think they'll enjoy them, knowing they undeservingly received them? And do they deserve the misdirected criticism they're receiving? By speaking, you have only exposed your senselessness. Take some free advice, do not post to message boards unless you've really thought through what you are going to say (which you obviously did not), because it has the potential to reach millions of eyes. By the way, I hear there may be some upcoming openings for an obtuse individual such as yourself as an Olympic figure-skating judge. Sincerely |

I have plenty of common sense - and something which you don't have: an appreciation of art. Which is why I preferred the Russians' programme and performance. They were truly masters of their art.
Take a hike. You come on here insulting me with your first post. Stop whining. The Canadians were not only whiners, but they were arrogant as well, assuming that they had won before the judges had made their decision. LOW CLASS. What a bad impression of Canadians it must be making to the world. Go visit them and have a whine fest. Need some tissues? They just did not have what it takes to win - plain and simple. They were great, but not great enough. No grace, no elegance, no feeling. Good technique, but without grace, no green light!! But gotta go now, Stojko will be on soon. hehehehehe I hope he does well.

Unfortunately, Stojko really messed up his short programme.
Didn't land his combo jump. Got 5.0's and 5.2's. He is now in 7th place. At least HE has class. Three Russian men in the top five, I believe. Doing very well!! kgman, what did you think of his performance? Don't be biased please.

Hi kgman, I am Vorosilov. Canadians are sour loosers that is for sure. Blaming the judges, investigate. The judges are mentioned everywhere on the TV. It is hysteria. The canadian couple were skating great. But the Russian couple was the FIGURE SKATING couple. FIGURE - IS IS SO HARD TO GET? It is not only jumping and throwing women around. But figure skating. But why do I tell this to you? The jumping champion Stojko finished seventh in the short program. The marshal artist. But at least he isn't whining. Jagudin, Plushenko, Abt, they are FIGURE SKATERS. So kgman take the silver and dont whine too much. Best Regards: Vorosilov
