Duremar, thank you so much, but I need advanced weather forcasts, does sich a thing exist? People from work are thinking about visiting St.Petersburg on September 17-23 and want to know what the weather is going to be like approximately. They will be travelling in other cities in Europe and want to make sure the weather is not going to be so different that they must pack a separate suitcase of clothing just for St.Petersburg.
Also, they just asked me if I knew any sites where they can check out what shows are going be playing (they are maily interested in a balley as they speak no Russian, BTW - is it okay for them just to rome around the city without a guide and not knowing the language, is it safe you think, they are looking to me for guidance and advice but I haven't been in Russia in a long time.) Anyway, they just asked if I could find any sites where they can buy tickets in advance. I clicked on Travel on Russia.com home page and it just gives general information and says the schedule of the shows for the coming 15 days at the kassas, does it mean the tickets are avaialble the same day, I think they are used to have everything booked in advance before they go. Should I just advise them to contact a Tour Agency? Is there anyone here from St.Petersburg? I would really appreciate your advise. I will be doing the search on the interentet, but it's always great to have someone's opinion who lives there. I appreciate it in advance any information you can provide. |

The (cold and rainy) weather forecast (for 3 or 10 days in advance) is at:
http://www.gismeteo.ru/weather/towns.htm If you want average climate conditions year-round, go to: http://www.worldclimate.com/ If you don't like cold weather, I'd try to get there before September is over. Schastlivivo pootee Fairbro |

They will be there September 17-23. I hope it doesn't rain all the time. When are the white nights?
I tried worldclimate, it said: "Sorry, no data for place names starting with ST.PETERSBURG" "Sorry, no data for place names starting with ST. PETERSBURG " "Sorry, no data for place names starting with SAINT PETERSBURG" |
