I currently live in the UK and want to travel to Tomsk sometime in the New Year. Can anyone advise me of the best way to get there i.e. what planes or trains there are available.

hey. i think you found the right person.i am originally from tomsk and emigrated to uk 3 years ago.
i travelled nearly 3 days to moscow by train. it was great hovewer when you get off the train you continue to sway when you walk.ok back to the question.
get to manchester and get a plain tomoscow i travelled by sas its a scandinavian company.prices are reasonoble.then you need to find a place to stay in moscow. please if you can do not reveal the you are foregn.because you ll end up paying a fortune.get a train to tomsk. there are many different trains to cath.prices vary too.
when you are in the train never leave anything unatended you wount even notice your volet dissapearing.
